The history of the Curolles company dates back to 2016, when its two artists, Skye and Francisco, together with other people, created the Cap de Fibló cultural association, organising circus cabarets, street performances and other events. Skye continued her training as a juggler and performer at the CAU, complementing it with courses in dramaturgy and lighting, and in recent years she has specialised in the art of spinning tops and crafts. Francisco is a self-taught juggler who combines circus with teaching; he has taken courses in clowning and improvisational theatre, and also works as a circus and theatre instructor for young people; he was crowned world champion in traditional spinning top in 2023.
Two crazy minds bring their workshop on play to the stage. Taking the traditional spinning top as their starting point, our friends take this toy to unexpected places, opening up a world of possibilities where only physics sets the limits. A wheelbarrow, a ladder, target plates, lots of rope, tons of sawdust and a wide variety of handmade spinning tops are the pieces that make up this game, in which success and failure are measured by the size of the audience's smiles. Tot bé!
