The company was founded in 1995 in Tarragona with street performers who decided to arrange and perform some of their best routines. Cia. Passabarret has worked with artists such as Peter Ercolano, Monti, Pepa Plana, Chacovachi and Jango Edwards. They have had their own travelling circus and were headline clowns at Circo Raluy. They have been recognised with the BBVA Zirkòlika award and the circ de Catalunya awards for best show of the year for Josafat (2018).
