This Franco-American circus company defends the vision of a terrestrial circus without frontiers. A mixture of clowning, object manipulation, dance and acrobatics and improvisation play an important role in their performances. Circ BiZ'art has performed all over the world bringing laughter to festivals and street theatres spreading laughter from big stages to refugee camps, from streets, halls, tents, squats, theatres, joke collectives, remand centres and wherever people are crazy enough to invite them. The arts have fun with their favourite medicine: circus and comedy.
The artists Jonah Katz / Chuck, Laurie Roger / Charlotte and Remy Bombled / Jean-Claude compose this show that will transport the whole FIC audience to a traditional but innovative cabaret. For an hour we will see funny twists, bizarre magicians, levitation, a boxing match and the French can't can't. Inspired by the greats of American burlesque (Keaton, Lewis, Chaplin, etc.), Cabaret BiZ'art revisits what made the old cabarets so beautiful. Their show constantly seeks laughter, interacting with audiences from all over the world and making their show universal.
