A company formed by the artists Samuel Penhastro and Hugo Miró, who specialise in clowning and physical comedy. Both have a solid international track record in circus and theatre, having worked at festivals, circuses and leading companies across Europe and the world. In the Canary Islands, he has developed his career in circus and physical comedy, working with artists such as Jorge Blass and companies such as Ale-Hop. He has performed with circuses such as Cirque Imagine and Hippodrome Circus, and at numerous international clown and circus festivals.
Samuel Penhastro, who lives in the Canary Islands, is self-taught and has trained under leading figures in the world of clowning such as Leandre Ribera and Churry Silva. He has worked in international circuses and festivals such as Cirque Amar, the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and the Teatro Circo Price, as well as collaborating with companies such as La Fura dels Baus and Els Comediants.
Hugo Miró, who also lives in the Canary Islands, has built his career in the circus and physical comedy, working with artists such as Jorge Blass and companies such as Ale-Hop. He has performed with circuses including Cirque Imagine and Hippodrome Circus, and at numerous international clown and circus festivals.
Their collaborative work focuses on contemporary clowning, visual comedy and the creation of shows with a strong stage presence and an international reach.
