Gina Segura, known as “La Churry”, was born in Barcelona and has been performing on stage with her clown nose for years. A qualified specialist in artistic photography, she decided to stop capturing moments and start creating them, sharing them live with her audience. She began her career at the age of 17 in a children’s playground in Barcelona, which became her real training ground for over two decades.
In 2011, she began her training as a clown under renowned international teachers such as Merche Ochoa, Jango Edwards, Gardi Hutter, Leo Bassi and Pepa Plana, amongst others. In 2021, she established her company, La Churry, with the premiere of “S.O.S”, and continued her exploration with “Wooooow!!” in 2022. She co-created “El Placer de mi Vida” and is part of La Trena Circ with the show “Ex-quisito”.
She currently combines her work on stage with her involvement in social projects and organisations such as Clowns Without Borders, and since 2025 she has been part of the Pallapupas team as a hospital clown in Catalonia.
Wow!… Yes, it’s normal to be taken aback. Sometimes revelations don’t come straight away, but later… when something ‘clicks’ and everything falls into place. This idea invites you to pause and look squarely at what really matters: that life is happening right now. It’s a nudge to be bold, make a decision and take the plunge, even without a safety net. Because time is short, almost fleeting, and all too often we go through it on autopilot.
Led by La Churry, the audience will discover, with humour and self-assurance, a unique philosophy of life: the ‘Goddess Mode’. An invitation to reconnect with authenticity, pleasure and mindfulness. A surprising, entertaining and transformative theatrical experience that leaves no one unmoved.
