Get ready for Rollercoaster! This one-hour solo performance, created and performed by Wes Peden, immerses you in a world of ultra-modern juggling and pop-punk. The piece explores the constant search for balance between freedom and safety. Surrounded by huge blue inflatable structures and to the rhythm of powerful beats, Peden performs original tricks inspired by rollercoasters and their advanced safety belts. A turntable transforms into a celebration of past journeys, an epic routine with three disco balls evokes the evolution of roller coasters, and a four-metre transparent tube becomes the path along which the balls slide in incredible loops, propellers and spirals. Rollercoaster defies the rules of theatre, creating a safe space to present some of the most difficult and original juggling ever seen on stage.
