Taller payasadas en familia

Lirio Mosqueda

Clowning around with the family is a workshop in which sharing time and space with those we love the most, makes it even more fun. An intergenerational exchange with the little ones of the house full of laughter, complicity, creativity... where your grandfather, parakeet, mum, great-grandmother or dad will not only learn about the art of clowning through choreographies, sketches and impossible languages, but will also become a real ‘Clan-Clown’.

In the family workshop, different choreographies will be developed, one for each family, with spaces delimited for each of them and respecting the festival's protocols. Creativity will be developed through various elements in which music and the body will be the protagonists. Using hats, wigs, glasses, etc., the participants will be able to play different characters, playing with each other to encourage fun and trigger their imagination.

During the hour and a half that the activity lasts, each family will prepare some sketches in the style of a television quiz show with the aim of bringing out the funniest part of the group and achieving teamwork between laughter and invented languages. A fun day to spend with the family, putting aside everyday life for a moment and reviving the smile of the clown and his unquestionable ability to remember how to have fun with the little ones.

The workshop is given by Lirio Mosqueda, who graduated in Dramatic Art from the Escuela de Actores de Canarias in 2016, and complements her training in different disciplines, including clown and buffoonery.

In addition, in 2017 and 2018 she took part in various theatre research workshops at the National Theatre, as part of the inclusive festival Una Mirada Diferente. (A Different Vision). In 2018 she began her career in community theatre with the project against bullying Todos Somos Uno (We Are All One).

Desde entonces, imparte talleres de clown no solo para el público general sino también para colectivos vulnerables como niños y adolescentes con TEA, jóvenes con discapacidad intelectual y personas con diversidad funcional en general.
