This clown workshop is designed to offer a fundamental and practical understanding of this artistic discipline. The program focuses on developing key skills for performance and character creation, fostering the ability to laugh at oneself and explore the playful side of personality. Participants will work on recovering characteristics associated with childhood, such as curiosity, spontaneity, ingenuity, and joy, integrating them into their adult expression. Imagination and intuition will be stimulated for the design and execution of clown scenes and performances, while concentration and sensory skills will be strengthened through collaborative teamwork.
The workshop sessions are structured to optimize learning and experimentation. They will begin with games and warm-up exercises focused on physical and mental liberation, facilitating greater receptivity and connection among participants—essential aspects for clown development. Various improvisations will then be carried out, allowing each individual to explore the construction of their own clown persona. At the same time, the necessary knowledge of the language and conventions of traditional clowning will be imparted, providing a solid foundation for the practical application of the techniques learned and the development of authentic artistic expression.
